Our oil is from Calabria, and it’s produced in an ideal area for many kind of cultivation.

Aliva has its roots in the small town of Maida (Catanzaro), south of Italy. The town is located in the center of Calabria, on the southern hills of what is known as “Piana di Sant’Eufemia”, an area with a strong deep-rooted agricoltural tradition.

“Mar Tirreno” and “Mar Ionio” are only separeted by only 30 km, which makes this piece of land the norrowest italian isthmus, From some hills it is possible to enjoy a panoramic view of both seas at the same time.

The breeze of two seas create a unique climate in area with sun for most of the year, rainy springs and mild winters where olive trees and many other plantations can thrive.
